On May 7, 2008, Guidant Group's parent company, Corporate Services Group (CSG) merged with The Carlisle Group, both UK based entities, underneath the umbrella of a newly formed holding company called Impellam Group. Impellam is a publicly held company traded on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in the UK. Both CSG and The Carlisle Group were primarily owned by Lord Michael Ashcroft who now is the primary owner of Impellam. The merging of the two entities was predicated on the desire to increase our market share and afford our clients access to a multitude of brands within the human capital space. Furthermore, the merger created an entity with $2 billion in revenue worldwide in addition to increased overall value to our shareholders.
