Keeping Women In

Our Keeping Women In research project aims to tackle the issue of gender inequality head-on. We personally interviewed 250 high achieving working mothers and asked them to tell us about their lives, to identify barriers to achieving their full career potential and to suggest potential solutions for employers.

We have taken our Keeping Women In campaign to some of the country’s most influential employers, helping them identify solutions to attract, retain and engage female talent. Find out more about our Keeping Women In campaign here.

Clear Assured and the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative

Guidant Group is committed to improving the prospects for disabled job seekers via an innovative dual approach incorporating Clear Assured and the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative.

As well as examining our own approach to disability, we are also taking steps to positively influence that of the wider recruitment industry via our involvement with the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI), an independent not-for-profit group of employers and recruiters that have come together to drive change for disabled people in the UK jobs market. This has led to us achieving our 'Proud to be Clear Assured' status. This accreditation recognises organisations following best-practice when it comes to disability. Find out more about our Clear Assured journey here.
 

Business in the Community


Ready for Work, Business in the Community's national programme supports some of society's most disadvantaged people to enter employment. Guidant Group is supporting the initiative via a series of work placements and mentoring programmes, enabling our employees to pass on a wealth of experience, while building valuable relationships with people within the community.
 
 

Action for Children

Action for Children is focused on ensuring that the wellbeing of communities is at the core of their work. Last year they supported more than 300,000 children, young people and their families – more than any other UK charity. The charity is active where Guidant Group’s clients, candidates and employees are – having an impact on the communities where we all live and work. For that reason, Action for Children is Guidant Group’s Charity of Choice.

Our CEO Mel Forbes is committed to leading from the front and showed her dedication to the cause by sleeping rough for Action for Children’s London CEO Sleep-out, raising £10,000 in the process.
